Extra Hands Advertising & Marketing opened its doors in Buena Park, California in 1994 offering small businesses an “extra hand” with their printing, promotional and graphic design work.
Over the years, we have had an office in La Mirada and are currently located in Whittier. In the beginning, our focus was, and remains to this day, to help small and medium size companies promote their business to their local communities and beyond.
As a woman owned and operated company with decades of combined experience, we strive to further our client’s success by producing high-quality products at cost–effective price. With experts in both graphic design and copywriting, Extra Hands Advertising & Marketing can handle any job, no matter the size.
People often ask what “Advertising & Marketing” means in our name. It is quite simple — the art of promoting and marketing oneself through various medium whether through traditional print advertising, social media, or promotional products. Depending on the size of your company and what your goals are, we can create a marketing program to fit your needs.
Senior Management
Debra Scheibel President/Founder
Debbie has been in the advertising business for over 40 years, in both the corporate side and the small business side. She served as Director of Advertising for Builders Emporium before it closed. It was at that time, she formed Extra Hands Advertising & Marketing. While at Builders Emporium, she oversaw the weekly ads, worked with buyers, coordinated 2-3 day off site manager’s meetings and much more. When the company closed, she decided that if she could work with and help a lot of people inside the organization, why couldn’t she do it on her own and help small to medium sized businesses with their own advertising and marketing.
Over the years, she has served on several Boards of Directors including Lincoln Training Center, From Maddi’s Closet and the Kiwanis Club of La Mirada. Debbie joined Kiwanis in 2005 and is very active in serving the community through Kiwanis and her leadership roles as Club President, Lieutenant Governor Division 30, CLE trainer, member of the Policy Committee, and now currently serving as a Board Member of the Cal-Nev-Ha Kiwanis District Foundation. Debbie was first introduced to Kiwanis when she spoke at one of the club meetings looking for its assistance at the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life La Mirada, in which she served as its first Event Chair.
